What is the WISCA assistant?

You type one sentence, like a test for 7-A on chapters 3 and 4. The assistant makes the paper and runs the checks, then stops and asks, because anything a student or a parent will see is your call.

What jobs can the assistant do?

Three jobs. Setting a paper: it makes the draft, checks it and asks once whether to approve it. Marking day: it counts what is marked, what is left and what needs you. Reteaching: it reads what the class lost and drafts the revision papers.

Is the assistant optional?

Yes. It is optional and stays off until your school's administrator switches it on.

What does the assistant get to see?

It is given your sentence and counts, such as how many papers are marked. It is never sent a student's name, answer, mark or identifier.

Will the assistant act without asking me?

At the default level it will not give a paper, share a result or change a mark without your yes. Anything a student or a parent will see is asked first.

What levels does the assistant have?

Level 1: ask before it gives a paper to a class or shares results. Level 2: also do safe things by itself, such as counting marks and accepting clear scan readings. Level 3: follow your own standing rules too. Your school sets the highest level.

Can I undo what the assistant did?

There is no undo. What the assistant makes stays in Papers as a draft you can leave or archive. What it does for students, such as approving, giving or sharing, is asked first and cannot be taken back.

Can I see what the assistant did?

Yes. Each run keeps what it did as steps, made of ids and counts and never a student, for 90 days, and you can see them.
