Who these terms are between

WISCA (Worksheet Intelligence & Scoring Console for Assessment) is operated by Cusiosense Learning India Private Limited ("we", "us"), CIN U58200UP2025PTC238093, whose registered office is UTC, Tower-A, 21/3, sector 135, Noida, India. "The school" means the school that has an order with us. These terms apply to the school and to everyone who uses WISCA under the school's account. They sit alongside our Privacy page, which explains how personal data is handled.

If a school's order says something different from this page, the order wins for that school.

Who may use WISCA

WISCA is for schools and for the people they invite: teachers, heads of department, administrators, pupils and parents. A person who signs in as staff acts for their school. They need the school's authority to use WISCA, and what they do in it is done on the school's behalf.

The school is responsible for having the right to put its pupils' information into WISCA, including recording a parent's consent where it is needed, and for telling pupils and parents how the school uses WISCA.

WISCA is independent. It follows the structures that the Central Board of Secondary Education publishes for papers, but it is not made, checked or endorsed by the Board.

Accounts and sign-in security

  • Each person has their own account. Please do not share a sign-in. Every change in WISCA is recorded against the account that made it.
  • Keep your password and any two-step sign-in codes to yourself. Choose a password that others would not guess.
  • If you think someone else knows your password, change it at once and tell your school's administrator, or write to us.
  • A school's administrator creates the accounts for its staff and pupils and is responsible for removing access when someone leaves.

Acceptable use

Please use WISCA for a school's teaching and assessment, and do not:

  • try to read, change or delete another school's information, or try to get around the checks that keep schools apart;
  • share a paper, an answer key or a result with people who should not have it;
  • upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to use;
  • put pupils' names, contact details or answers into the assistant's sentence box;
  • probe, overload or interfere with the service, or use it to attack anything else;
  • copy or resell the software, the question bank or the data behind the paper patterns, or take them apart to build a competing product.

Content and data ownership

What belongs to the school

The school owns the information it puts into WISCA or creates with it: its pupil and staff records, its marks and results, its scanned answer sheets, and the questions and papers its teachers write. We use that information only to give the school the service, as the Privacy page describes. The school can ask for its data to be erased, and it is erased on the schedule described there.

What belongs to WISCA

The WISCA software, its design, the name and logo, the platform's own question bank, and the curriculum and paper-pattern data we prepare belong to Cusiosense Learning India Private Limited, or to the people who license them to us. Some parts use other people's software or fonts, which keep their own licences. While a school's order is in force, we give the school a right to use WISCA and the platform question bank for its own teaching and assessment. That right is not exclusive and cannot be passed on. The platform question bank may not be taken out of WISCA to be used or sold elsewhere.

The syllabus and sample papers published by the Central Board of Secondary Education belong to the Board.

If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve WISCA without owing you anything for it.

The assistant and AI suggestions

The assistant and handwriting reading are optional, and they are off for a school until its administrator switches them on. They make suggestions. A reading of handwriting becomes a mark only when a teacher confirms it, and the assistant asks the teacher before it gives a paper, shares a result or changes a mark. A teacher decides every mark, and the school remains responsible for its marks and results.

AI can be wrong. A suggested question can contain a mistake, and a reading can misread a hand. Please read what it makes before you rely on it. The Privacy page explains what these features send to outside services.

Availability and changes

We work to keep WISCA running, and we check it all the time, but we cannot promise it will never be down. We may make changes to improve it, add features, or remove one that is little used or no longer safe. If a change takes away something a school depends on, we will tell the school first where we can. We may sometimes need to pause WISCA for maintenance, and we will keep that short.

Please keep your own copy of anything you need on a given day, such as the printed papers for an exam.

Fees

Fees, how they are charged and when they are due are as agreed in the school's order. If a school has no order, it uses WISCA only as we have agreed in writing, for example for a demonstration. Taxes are added where the law requires them.

Suspension and ending

We may suspend an account, or a school, if it breaks these terms, puts the service or other people at risk, or has not paid what is due under its order. Where we can, we will tell the school what is wrong and give it a chance to put it right first.

A school can stop using WISCA and ask us to erase its data, and we may end a school's use under the terms of its order. When a school's use ends, we erase its data as the Privacy page describes. We keep what the law requires us to keep, and we remove it when that need ends. A school that wants a copy of its data should ask for it before the end.

Warranty and limits on our responsibility

We take care over WISCA, but we give it as it is. We do not promise that it will be free of mistakes, that it will always be available, or that it will suit every purpose. Marking and results depend on what teachers and schools enter and confirm.

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss that we could not reasonably have foreseen, for loss of profit or reputation, or for loss caused by something outside our control, such as a failure of the internet or of a service we rely on. Where we are responsible, our total responsibility for any one matter is limited to the fees the school paid us for WISCA in the 12 months before it arose, unless the school's order says otherwise.

Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit, such as responsibility for fraud, or a right you have under the law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Noida, where our registered office is, have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. We would much rather talk first, so please write to us before anything else.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we will change the date at the top. If a change matters to a school, we will tell the school before it takes effect. Using WISCA after a change means accepting it, unless the school's order says otherwise.
