Which pattern a class follows
| Classes | Pattern WISCA follows |
|---|---|
| VI to VIII | A school-paper pattern. |
| IX | The Class X structure. |
| X | CBSE's 2026-27 sample-paper structure. |
| XI | The Class XII structure. |
| XII | CBSE's 2026-27 sample-paper structure. |
Class X Science
A Class X Science paper is one 80-mark paper in sections by discipline: Biology 30 marks, Chemistry 25 marks and Physics 25 marks.
Kinds of question
Where the pattern asks for them, internal choice, case-based and assertion-reason questions appear in the paper, in the way CBSE sets them. A teacher chooses the chapters, the number of questions, the difficulty and the kind of question, and the paper shows its total marks and an estimated time before it is approved.
Subjects
Public subjects are English, Hindi, Maths, Science and Social Science, with senior-secondary subjects such as Biology and Chemistry. Hindi is a subject, and a Hindi paper prints in Hindi, in the layout CBSE uses for its own Hindi papers. For a subject not listed here, ask the team.
When the board changes a pattern
Each pattern is stored with its source and its version. When the board changes one, WISCA changes the data and the teacher's routine stays the same. WISCA holds the CBSE 2026-27 curriculum; papers follow the patterns CBSE publishes for that year.
WISCA is not made, checked or endorsed by the Board.
Common questions
Does WISCA follow the CBSE paper pattern?
Yes. Papers follow the structure CBSE publishes for the class and subject: its 2026-27 sample papers for Classes X and XII, and a school-paper pattern for Classes VI to VIII.
How is a Class X Science paper split?
One 80-mark paper in sections by discipline: Biology 30, Chemistry 25 and Physics 25.
Does WISCA cover other boards?
WISCA is built for CBSE. If a school follows another board, it should tell the team what it needs and they will say what is possible.
Which classes does WISCA cover?
Grades 6 to 12 on the CBSE 2026-27 curriculum: English, Hindi, Maths, Science and Social Science, with senior-secondary subjects such as Biology and Chemistry.
