How do I make a paper?

Choose the class, subject and chapters, say how big the paper should be, and WISCA lays it out in the board's pattern from the question bank. You read it, swap what you do not like and approve it.

Can I choose chapters, marks and difficulty?

Yes. You choose the chapters, how many questions, the difficulty (mixed, easier or harder) and the kind of question. The paper shows its total marks and an estimated time before you approve it.

Does WISCA follow the CBSE paper pattern?

Yes. Papers follow the structure CBSE publishes for the class and subject: its 2026-27 sample papers for Classes X and XII, and a school-paper pattern for Classes VI to VIII.

What does a Class X Science paper look like?

One 80-mark paper in sections by discipline: Biology 30, Chemistry 25 and Physics 25.

Are internal choice, case-based and assertion-reason questions included?

Yes, where the pattern asks for them. Internal choice, case-based and assertion-reason questions appear in the paper, in the way CBSE sets them.

Where do the questions come from?

From WISCA's question bank, for the class, subject and chapters you choose. You read every question the way it will print before you can give the paper, and a head of department sets how verified a question must be.

Can I add my own questions?

Yes. A teacher can write a question. It is checked and approved before a paper can use it.

What checks happen before I give a paper?

WISCA runs its checks on the paper, and you read every question the way it will print. You can swap the ones you do not like. Nothing goes to the class until you approve it.

What does approving a paper do?

Approving lets you give the paper to a class. Students and their parents are told, and an approved paper cannot be changed, so make your changes before you approve.

How do I print the papers?

Print from WISCA on A4 pages. Each student gets their own copy, with a page code in the corner so that scans can be matched later.

Are the options shuffled for each student?

Yes. The options are shuffled copy by copy, so the circles on the row ahead are not the circles on yours.

Can my school's name and logo go on the paper?

Yes. The heading carries your school's name and logo, and a school can set its exam name and reword the general instructions. The page codes and answer areas stay where scanning needs them.

Is there an answer key and a marking scheme?

Each question has a checked answer key, and WISCA can print a marking scheme to mark from.

Can the head of department control what papers may be given?

Yes. A head of department sets how verified a question must be and what papers may be given as, and settles flagged questions.

Can papers be printed in large print?

Yes. A student who needs it can have a large-print copy with extra space, and the paper's questions and marks do not change.

Do questions have diagrams and figures?

Yes. Science, Maths and Computing questions can carry figures such as diagrams, graphs and circuits. A question that points at a figure must have one before it can be used.

Can I give the same paper again?

Yes. A paper you made can be given again, for example to another class, and a student who joins a class later can be given the paper too.
