How does a school get started?

A school is set up in three steps: the school year, a sheet of teachers and a sheet of students. WISCA then creates the classes and can print a sign-in slip for each student.

What does a school need before starting?

A list of your teachers, a list of your students, and a way to print A4 pages. Teachers need a phone or a computer with a browser, and a phone camera or an office scanner for scanning.

What goes in the teachers' and students' sheets?

Teachers: email, name, class, section and subject. Students: name, class, section and roll number, with an optional ID. WISCA checks the sheet and shows a preview before anything is saved.

How do students get logins and sign-in slips?

One press makes a login for every student in a class, and WISCA prints sign-in slips, eight to an A4 page, each with the school code, a username and a temporary password.

How are parents' logins made?

The administrator makes a login for each child's parent, a whole class at a time, after the school records parents' consent. WISCA prints sign-in slips for them.

How does the school year work?

The school year runs from April to March, for example 2026-27, and one button creates the current one. It is the first of the three setup steps.

What happens at the start of next year?

A next-year file moves students on instead of making them again, so their place carries forward and you do not start from nothing.

What does WISCA cost?

Pricing is not published. It is set for each school after a demo. Leave your details and the team will write to you with a quote.

Is there a free trial?

There is no self-serve free trial. What we offer is a demo: we set up a class and subject like yours and take one paper from the first question to the last mark.

What happens in a demo?

Tell us your school and what you would like to see. We set up a class and subject like yours and take one paper from the first question to the last mark. Bring a paper you really set.

Can I use WISCA on my own without my school?

WISCA is set up for a school: the administrator adds the teachers and students. If you are a teacher and would like your school to try it, ask for a demo and the team can talk to your school.
