What do students see in WISCA?
A student answers their own printed copy. After the teacher shares a result, they see their own results and what to practise next.
What do parents see in WISCA?
A parent reads. They see their child's shared results and the school's notices.
How does a parent get a login?
The school issues it. The administrator makes parent logins for a whole class and prints sign-in slips, and one login can be linked to more than one child at the school.
How does a student get a login?
The school makes logins for the whole class and prints a sign-in slip for each student, with the school code, a username and a temporary password. The student chooses their own password at first sign-in.
How do students and parents get notices?
Notices appear inside WISCA, for example when a paper is set, a result is ready or a mark is corrected. WISCA does not send them by email or text, so nothing about a child leaves the app.
What should a student practise next?
After a result is shared, a student sees what to practise next. A teacher may also give a short practice paper drafted for the chapters the student lost marks on.
I do not have a login. What do I do?
Logins come from the school. Please ask your school's administrator or your class teacher, who can print a new sign-in slip. You cannot make an account yourself.
Is my child's information safe with WISCA?
Only your child's teachers, and you once the teacher shares a result, can see the marks. The assistant is never sent a name, and records can be erased on request.
